I'm pretty sure that all wines, if you drink enough of them, will give you a hangover. The best method is to either stick to a glass or two of whatever you like to drink for the night, or to drink buckets of water and eat some good food along with your wine to cushion the impact.

I suggest just trying different varieties. I'm a whiskey, gin, and red wine (cabernet sauvignon, pinot noir, and occasionally the Spanish or Chilean varietals) girl. Even though white wines are said to pair better with certain foods, I still prefer a red wine to a white almost any day (unless it's hot outside). But you might love a Riesling or a Chardonnay; why not just start buying some bottles and see what you like best?

I absolutely LOVE Oliver Wines. The Soft Red, Soft White, Soft Rose and the Camelot Meade are all ones that I have tried. There have been one or two times ( ;-) ) that I have drank the whole bottle on my own and not once have I ever had a hangover with these wines. ;-)

Find Tamerack Cellers. It's great....all the brands. I'm mainly stay away from cabs...they're heavier. Mainly though, you need to stay away from "cheaply made" wines.....not cheap wines, but ones poorly made. You should also stay above $9 if possible
