i just tried my first good wine (in my opinion) today and it was some wine that i baught at wal-mart called sweet wine by liberty creek.

I would recommend finding out when there are wine tastings in your area and sampling different kinds of wines. Everybody's tastes are different, so it would be difficult to recommend a wine. At a tasting, you can try free of charge and buy what you like, or at least get a feel for the different styles and which type you prefer.

Take notes...it can get confusing, especially if you go to multiple tastings over time.
